The signature Double Heavyweight crewneck uses a circular-knit jersey at roughly twice the weight of conventional heavyweight fleece, and the rest of the line follows that logic.
Embroidery came before the garments
The founders started with hand-operated chainstitch embroidery and only built their own tees, hoodies and sweatpants after judging generic blanks unworthy of the stitching.
