Xander Zhou

Xander Zhou is the Beijing-based menswear label of its namesake designer, who studied industrial design in China and fashion in the Netherlands. The label builds speculative, sci-fi-inflected menswear around a recurring HUMANoidWEAR concept: modular tailoring, detachable and shapeable shoulder pads, colour-changing and heat-generating fabrics, sculptural helmets and prosthetic-like accessories. Zhou was the first Chinese designer to show at London Fashion Week Men's, and returned to the Shanghai runway in 2023 after a three-year break, introducing a couture-adjacent Xander Zhou & Pro line. Collaborators include Gentle Monster and Kappa.
