Ellesse Tennis

Italian sportswear label founded on 19 June 1959 in Perugia by Leonardo Servadio, whose initials "L.S." give the brand its name. It built its reputation on 1970s skiwear — quilted jackets and ski pants — before becoming a tennis and terrace staple. The current range covers court dresses, polos, track tops, tees and footwear in bright colour blocking under the half-ball logo. Owned by Britain's Pentland Group since 1987, alongside Speedo and Berghaus, with regional licensees handling manufacture and distribution.
