What to know about Farm RIO
Farm Rio makes print-led womenswear rooted in carioca beach culture: maxi and midi dresses, cotton co-ords, crochet, swim and accessories in tropical florals, fruit and animal motifs, with around 700 new prints developed yearly by an in-house collective of Brazilian creatives. Kátia Barros and Marcello Bastos founded it in 1997 at an independent Rio fashion market; it now runs over 100 Brazilian stores plus international retail. Parent Grupo Soma merged with Arezzo&Co in August 2024 to form Azzas 2154, which is backing Farm Rio's global expansion.
