Pendleton Woolen Mills is a family-owned American wool manufacturer headquartered in Portland, Oregon, tracing its start to English weaver Thomas Kay, who began making woolen goods in Oregon in 1863. The company still weaves at its own mills in Pendleton, Oregon and Washougal, Washington. Output centers on jacquard trade blankets, including National Park stripe patterns, alongside the Board shirt introduced in 1924, wool overshirts, flannel, bags and home textiles. Licensing and collaborations extend its patterns to footwear, luggage and accessories.
