Started by Kaname Nagaoka as the Nepenthes Sapporo shop, it takes its name from the store's street address and launched as a brand in 2003. Collections revolve around tenkara, traditional Japanese fly fishing, pairing technical waders, rods and vests with city-ready mesh shirts, belted pants and bucket hats in signature camouflage and tie-dye prints. Kento Miura currently directs the line, which remains independently owned and distributed through Nepenthes stores worldwide.
