Black Scale
Black Scale, styled BLVCK SCVLE, is a streetwear label founded in 2007 by Michael "Mega" Yabut and Alfred De Tagle, launched out of Keith Hufnagel's San Francisco boutique and later run from Los Angeles. It started with four T-shirts themed around religion, government, identity and death, and still works a near-monochrome palette with occult, masonic and militaristic graphics. Output centres on graphic tees, hoodies, snapbacks and light outerwear, sold online and through flagship stores, with past collaborations including Mehrathon and Burton.
