Deus Ex Machina
Deus Ex Machina began in 2006 as a Sydney custom-motorcycle workshop founded by Dare Jennings and Carby Tuckwell, and now sells apparel, surfboards and bikes through "Temples" — combined workshop, store and cafe spaces in Sydney, Bali, Los Angeles, Milan and Japan. Clothing centres on graphic tees, fleece, workwear and racing-inspired outerwear, boardshorts and riding gear with surf and moto motifs. A Milan-led investor group took a 60% controlling stake in 2017; South Korean apparel group The Nature Holdings acquired the business in June 2024. Breitling made a co-branded watch in 2021.
