Insight is an Australian surf and skate label founded on Sydney's Northern Beaches, drawing on the art, music and counterculture side of board sports rather than technical surfwear. Collections centre on graphic T-shirts, fleece, denim, boardshorts, swim and loose printed shirting in bold prints and washed colour. The brand is owned by Australian retail group Alquemie, which has pushed it back into international markets and built the Art by Friends series with artists including Austin video artist Alex Aulson and Australian graphic designer Jericho.
