Pelle Pelle

Pelle Pelle is an American outerwear label founded in 1978 in Detroit by designer Marc Buchanan. Its signature is elaborately built leather jackets: patchwork and color-blocked panels, appliqué and embroidered branding, quilted detailing and boxy, oversized cuts. The range extends to varsity and denim jackets, hoodies, jeans and graphic T-shirts. The label became a staple of 1990s and 2000s hip-hop dress and continues to sell through its own site and urban specialty retailers, with leather outerwear remaining the core category.
