DAIWA PIER39

DAIWA PIER39 is the city-facing apparel line of Japanese fishing brand DAIWA, designed by Shinsuke Nakata, a former BEAMS PLUS director. Launched for the spring/summer 2020 season, it works from a concept of bridging nature and the city, reworking fishing and military garments into loose, technical urban clothing. Signature pieces include the Tech Balmacaan coat, the reversible Tech MIL overcoat, multi-pocket vests, wide tech trousers, fleeces and caps in weather-resistant synthetics. It sells through Japanese retailers and international stockists such as HBX and NUBIAN.
